Incentive Group Visit to Edinburgh & The Highlands Sample Itinerary
DAY ONE

Edinburgh Castle
Arrive Edinburgh Airport – met by Andrew Burnet & Company for private transfer to city centre hotel.

DAY TWO
A day in the highlands!
From Edinburgh the party will be driven north to cross the mile long Forth Road Bridge into the Kingdom of Fife and by Loch Leven the island prison of Mary, Queen of Scots in 1567 towards the “Fair City” of Perth where castellated gothic Scone Palace breathes history like nowhere else in Scotland.

From Scone, the group will head to Methven just to the west of Perth to try their hand at Highland Games!! Great fun for all participants, the group will be split into ‘highland clans’ and compete in events such as tug o’ war, farmers dash, wellie and haggis hurling and tossing the caber. On arrival, a BBQ lunch will be ready and the group briefed on the afternoon ahead. Before departure, refreshments will be served along with a prize giving ceremony.
On to Crieff and the home of Famous Grouse, Scotland’s oldest distillery, Glenturret Distillery is a short drive away where the group can take a private distillery tour and enjoy a wee dram before heading back to Edinburgh.

In the evening, a whisky tasting and dinner at the Scotch Malt Whisky Society in Edinburgh’s New Town. This is a private club and offers stylish and elegant rooms for exquisite private dining and whisky tasting delivered with skill, flair and passion.

DAY THREE
The morning to spend at leisure – shopping in George Street, Princes Street and parts of the Old and New Town or perhaps relaxing in a city centre Spa where half or full day treatment packages are available.
In the afternoon, a private city tour of Edinburgh accompanied by a Blue Badge Guide taking in the key sites and attractions including Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Yacht Britannia, Holyrood Palace, Mary Kings Close, Arthurs Seat plus the Old and New Town parts of Edinburgh.

In the evening
Dinner as a group in Underground Edinburgh or as guests of ‘The Taste of Scotland Show’ at Prestonfield.
Underground Edinburgh offers themed dinners such as – A Traditional Scottish Storytelling Evening, Murder Most Royal or the Hellfire Club

The Taste of Scotland show takes place in the stunning Stables at Prestonfield 15 minutes from the city centre.
The full show which includes dinner (and haggis!!) and wines is a mix of traditional and contemporary Scottish dancing, music and entertainment

DAY FOUR
In the morning the group can enjoy some free time.
In the afternoon – Edinburgh City Safari…!!! This is a treasure hunt by black taxi involving group challenges along the way and taking in the most interesting parts of the city

‘Ghosts and Ghouls’ tour
In the evening a pub style dinner for the whole group in the historical Old Town of Edinburgh followed by a ‘Ghosts and Ghouls’ tour which takes visitors on a light-hearted journey into Edinburgh’s dark past. Torture, hangings and plague have left a haunting legacy on the city’s Old Town and ghostly apparitions now walk its streets.
DAY FIVE
Transfer to Airport where Andrew Burnet & Company team assist with your departure
